In the movies: “Son of God,” Diogo Morgado
He might not be a household name yet, but that may be about to change for Portuguese film and television actor Diogo Morgado. He stars as Jesus in this week’s feature release, “Son of God.” The movies covers the life of Jesus from his birth through his crucifixion and resurrection.
This isn’t Morgado’s first time as Jesus. You may have caught his other performance as the son of God in the History Channel’s Emmy-nominated miniseries, “The Bible,” which was the highest-rated cable show of 2013.
