Three nights. Three great lineups. One Houston tradition. Festival Chicano returns to Miller Outdoor Theatre for its 47th year, celebrating Chicano culture through Tejano, conjunto and other musical traditions that have shaped generations of Mexican American music.

  • WHEN: October 1–3, 2026. Music begins at 7 PM each night.

Tickets & more info: All three nights are FREE. Free tickets are required for the covered seating area and become available at 10 AM the day before each performance. Seating on the hill does not require a ticket.

Each night brings a different lineup:

  • Thursday, October 1: Latin GRAMMY winner Marcos Orozco headlines, with Jaime DeAnda opening. This performance will not be livestreamed.
  • Friday, October 2: Five-time GRAMMY winner Little Joe y La Familia headlines, with Ram Herrera opening. This is the only night of the festival scheduled to be livestreamed.
  • Saturday, October 3: David Lee Garza y Los Musicales headlines, with Max Baca y Los Texmaniacs with Lisa Morales opening. This performance will not be livestreamed.

Festival Chicano celebrates the many sounds that have helped shape Chicano music, including Tejano, conjunto, rancheras, corridos, mariachi, country, rock and roll, rhythm and blues, and more. The festival’s mission is to preserve, promote and protect Chicano culture while sharing its music with new generations.
