Get ready to move! Noche Caliente brings salsa, mambo, Latin jazz and Afro-Caribbean rhythms to Miller Outdoor Theatre for a night of music under the stars. This year, Grammy and Latin Grammy-nominated salsa singer Michael Stuart joins Houston musicians and some of the city’s talented young performers for the 24th annual celebration.

Tickets & more info: The performance is FREE. Free tickets are required for the covered seating area and become available online at 10 AM on Friday, September 18. Seating on the hill does not require a ticket.

Michael Stuart will perform with the Houston Latin Jazz Orchestra and Caliente, the award-winning youth ensemble from Diaz Music Institute. Expect an energetic mix of salsa, mambo and Latin jazz performed by young musicians and professional artists sharing the same stage.
There’s also a great community story behind the music. Diaz Music Institute works to educate and empower young people through music education, performance and mentorship. The organization also works to preserve Latin jazz traditions and expand opportunities for underserved communities.
