Baseball meets música, cultura and orgullo at Houston Astros Hispanic Heritage Weekend! The Astros are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with three days of baseball, Latin music, special events, cultural recognition and giveaways at Daikin Park. The Astros will take on the Atlanta Braves throughout the weekend.

    • Friday’s game starts at 7:10 PM, Saturday at 6:10 PM and Sunday at 1:10 PM.

The celebration starts Friday with a pregame First Bud Friday, followed by Astros baseball and postgame fireworks set to a Latin Party Mix.

Saturday brings one of the weekend’s biggest celebrations. The Hispanic Heritage Street Festival runs from 3 to 6 PM with live Latin music and performers, Hispanic food trucks, face painters, caricature artists, games and family activities. Before the game, a special on-field ceremony will celebrate the Latin and Hispanic heritage of Astros players and coaches.

Fans attending Saturday’s game can also purchase a special Hispanic Heritage Hat Add-On Package with designs representing Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela.

There are special giveaways throughout the weekend, too. Promotions include a Jeremy Peña Retro Los Astros Jersey, an Orbit Sugar Skull Bobblehead and a Viva Los Astros Rally Towel. Giveaways are available to ticketed fans while supplies last, with some limited to the first 10,000 fans.

It’s more than a baseball series. Hispanic Heritage Weekend brings Houston’s love of baseball together with the music, food and cultures of our Latino community.
