The view at Bay Area Park (photos)
Over the weekend I ended up at Bay Area Park with the intent of taking photos. We used the park and its green spaces and waterways as a backdrop for my niece’s pre-prom pics. While I’m not sharing those pics here (I didn’t ask permission from my niece or her boyfriend), I am sharing a few photos of the park itself. I’d almost forgotten how pretty it is. It’s a very nice place to spend the day with your family.

Bay Area Park is a 64.3 acre park overlooking Armand Bayou. Among the tall trees you can picnic by the duck pond or walk along the flagstone trails and gazebo in the Oasis garden. Launch your canoe and paddle along the historic Armand Bayou. There is a variety of playground structures, baseball and softball fields, and tennis courts. Bring your dogs and visit Precinct 2’s first dog park.
