The 2024 MFAH Fall Festival: “Myths and Leyendas” is a perfect blend of art, culture, and fun. Here’s what to expect:

- WHEN: Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. (Entry opens at 12:30 p.m.)

- ADMISSION: Free, with tickets available at entry points and Museum desks. Advance tickets are recommended.

These artists were selected through a partnership between the MFAH and ALMAAHH (Advocates of a Latino Museum of Cultural and Visual Arts & Archive Complex in Houston, Harris County), with each sculpture drawing inspiration from Latin American myths. These works will be on display in the Cullen Sculpture Garden until November 17, 2024
Entertainment includes performances by Mariachi Nuevo Imperio, Quetzal Grupo Folklorico, Cucucuy, DJ Rosez, and screenings by the Houston Latino Film Festival, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with music and dance.
Attendees can also enjoy food and refreshments from local favorites like Café Leonelli at MFAH, Casita Coffee Co., Cochinita & Co. featuring Las Perras, Cocinando Con el Primo featuring Camila’s Catering, Elotes HTX, Flor y Miel, Octava Maravilla, Popston, El Rincón Paleteria y Neveria, and Sweets by Belen Dessert Boutique. H-E-B will provide complimentary snacks and water to keep everyone refreshed throughout the day.
Enjoy art-making activities, live performances, and games like a lotería featuring MFAH artworks.
