Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the Houston Symphony! Music Director Andrés Orozco-Estrada presents a festive program featuring GRAMMY® Award-winning pianist Michel Camilo. Born in the Dominican Republic and trained at Juilliard, Camilo will perform Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue with the “fearsome virtuosity and…free, spontaneous approach to rhythm” (Jazz Times) of a genre-bending jazz virtuoso. The program also includes colorful classics by Bernstein and Ginastera, as well as a recent piece by acclaimed Peruvian composer Jimmy López.

This is a FREE ticketed event. All seating is General Admission. For tickets, click “Best Available.”
