Walmart’s curbside pickup service now available in Houston suburbs
After finding out that Amazon’s Prime Now service doesn’t provide their one- and two-hour delivery in my Houston-area suburb, I found out that Walmart has expanded their grocery curbside delivery to my area. Service began earlier this week to Missouri City, Pearland, Spring and Tomball. And, yes, the service is reported to be free.
How this works is that you create an account on Walmart Grocery, you order your groceries and designate a pickup place and date/time. Then Walmart staff choose your groceries and show up curbside with your groceries.
I’m going to try out the service and see what happens. I already shop at Walmart, even using the Savings Catcher price comparison app to get reimbursements for any item on which I’ve overpaid. This sounds like a good service to test out.
Have you already used Walmart’s curbside grocery service? Let me know what your experience was?
