J Balvin’s recent music video debut of “Ginza” has set a new record, collecting 2.5 million views in its first day alone. It’s now reported as the most watched Spanish-language music video debut ever. As of today, the total views have gone past 9 million.

J Balvin, born José Álvaro Osorio Balvín, is a is a Colombian reggaeton singer. He is best-known for his songs “Yo Te Lo Dije,” “Tranquila,” “Ay Vamos” and “6 AM.” He’s expected to go on tour later this year with Becky G. His Facebook announcement:
