The Greater Houston community is invited to enjoy the Texas Taco Music Fest in a unique celebration of fun, food, music, and Latin culture to raise scholarship money at the “Restaurant Row” on 2400 Navigation Blvd. on April 18, 2015.
This all day event will involve a cook-off of tacos by friends/families and restaurants, live music, cooking demonstrations, a Bike-A-Thon, community and craft booths, a local talent stage, celebrity judges and a kid’s block. Proceeds will go toward scholarships for a Leonel Castillo student award and up to 20 other college scholarships through matching LULAC funds and as well as funding for other Hispanic cultural arts programs. Major sponsors will have a scholarship dedicated in their company’s name to be awarded to impartially selected students.
