Texas’ favorite food
It should come as no surprise to anyone who lives in Texas that our favorite food isn’t burgers or hotdogs, according to an article in Culturemap. It turns out that in Texas we prefer Tex-Mex to all other forms of cuisine. Our neighbors in Louisiana have given us our second favorite, Cajun food.
All of this is according to a collaboration between The Huffington Post and Yelp. The article makes a distinction between Tex-Mex and Mexican, which means that Mexican came in fourth place for food we love.
Where did barbecue fall? In third place. Yep, behind Cajun food.
