
Submissions due on December 20, 2015 for Second Annual UH Conference in Hispanic Studies
The University of Houston’s Hispanic Studies Graduate Student Organization has announced the Second Annual Conference in Hispanic Studies, to be held on Friday April 22, 2016.
The conference will focus primarily on the exploration of innovative approaches to the study of Hispanic literature and linguistics, with the objective of recovering contributions and other aspects of these disciplines that have traditionally been underrepresented or overlooked and establish new interdisciplinary dialogues.
HSGSO has put out a call for papers, inviting abstract submissions for topics to be covered in the conference. Submissions can be written in English or Spanish. Submissions are due by Saturday, December 20, 2015.

Call Deadline: December 20, 2015
Notification of Acceptance: January 7, 2016
Abstract Submission: Authors are asked to submit their abstracts (max. 250 words) to the address hsgso@uh.edu. Presentations will be 20 minutes long followed by a 10 minute question period.
