Rice University in top 10 for Best Colleges in the country
If you live in Houston, then it doesn’t come as a surprise that you can get a world-class education in your hometown. But sometimes it’s nice to have others recognize the same thing. In this instance, Niche ranked Rice University as the No. 5 best college in the country.
The top four spots were taken by Stanford (1), MIT (2), Yale (3), and Harvard (4). Rice beat out Duke, Brown, CalTech, Princeton, Notre Dame, and Columbia. And that’s just the beginning!
How were the rankings calculated?
The Best Colleges ranking provides a comprehensive assessment of total quality of the education and experience provided by the college. This grade takes into account key factors such as the strength of the academic program, the aptitude of professors, the quality of campus amenities, the general character of student life, as well as student reviews in an attempt to measure the overall excellence of the college experience.
Congratulations, Rice!

It’s fifth on the list, Not Tops!
Ok, maybe I did use the wrong word there. I’ll correct it.
