Photo recap: Pre-Opening Event at Ritual Restaurant
I eat out a lot. And I do mean a lot. I’ve estimated that at least 30%-50% of my meals are eaten out of the house on an average week. Some weeks it’s more than that.
As a result, I get to know a lot of the restaurants in Houston and the surrounding areas and it’s really hard to impress me. Heights-area restaurant Ritual did just that, impressed me with their fresh food, innovative tastes, great service and the amazing decoration, one of those restaurants decided use linen chair covers, the atmosphere was very friendly.
Located at 602 Studewood, Houston, TX 77008, Ritual takes the farm to table concept and adds a twist, with an emphasis on local meats as well as other ingredients.
A friend invited me early Summer to check out the restaurant, shortly before they opened to the public. And I’m grateful for the opportunity to check them out.
My favorites from my visit were the Granbury Gold Cheese Skillet, The Ritual Burger, and the Lamb Burger. I’d caution you to be wary of The Angry Bird; it’s the spiciest thing I’ve ever eaten.
Let me know what you think, once you visit.
