MTV Music Video Awards, Nominees for Best Latino Artist
The 2013 MTV Video Music Awards are held tonight (Sunday, August 25, 2013) the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. This year marks the 30th annual event. The nominees for Best Latino Artist are a who’s who of Latino music, though I’m disappointed to see only one woman (and she’s part of a duo):
- Daddy Yankee,
- Don Omar,
- Jesse & Joy,
- Pitbull, and
- Alejandro Sanz.
I couldn’t find the nomination list on the MTV site, so I don’t have a clue on why each of them was nominated (i.e., for which video). I guess I have to tune in.
The MTV Video Music Awards are on at 8 p.m. (CST).
