Casa Ramirez FOLKART Gallery hosts a free event and reception on Saturday May 9 beginning at 2 pm. Minerva Perez, an award-winning broadcast journalist, will read from and discuss her recently released book, I Gotta Story My 30 Years in TV News. Books are available for purchase at $15.95.
Her stories of news figures and historic events describe her personal and professional journey that was ‘sometimes bumpy, sometimes crude and sometimes comical and entertaining.’
Casa Ramirez is located at 242 W 19th St in the Historic Houston Heights.
