Meet Texas’ most popular burger joint
Do you know which Texas burger chain is the most popular? If you named some specialty or gourmet place, you are way off base. Culturemap reports that according to Thrillist, Texans prefer Whataburger and by a wide margin.
I can understand why. I crave the Whataburger with cheese and bacon (extra pickles, no onions) fairly frequently. And I tend to make it into one (or through the Drive Thru in one) every few weeks or so.
I have family members who make Whataburger their first stop when they happen to be in the state. And I know that that’s a pretty common occurrence.
Now, if they would just get better fries…
