
Lunch & Learn: How Spanish-language media are building audiences through social media
Houston influencers made their presence known recently at the Texas Social Media Network’s (#TXSocial) monthly Lunch & Learn series, which this month featured speakers from the Houston Chronicle, Univision Channel 45 and Univision Radio. Aurora Losada, editor of Spanish-language publications at the Houston Chronicle; Sussy Ruiz, executive producer at Univision 45; and Lilia Cooper, content manager at Univision Radio, shared their insights on building online audiences through social media.
Attendees included Sandra Fernandez, Frida Villalobos, Sybil Moncivais-Sanchez, Jackie Gil, Michele Price, Rolando Guajardo, Porfirio Villareal, Alejandro Montoya, Anjelica Cazares and Milagros Duran, among others.
#TXSocial hosts free, public and monthly Lunch & Learn series sessions every last Thursday of every month, from 12-1PM, at the Clayton Library Carriage House located at 5300 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77004.
