So, am I to understand that being Ecuadorian I am a Latino? because I speak Spanish and come from Latin America(South America)?….So people from Spain since they speak Spanish are they considered Europeans or Spanish? But Brazilians like my mate who speak Spanish and Portuguese are considered Latinos since Brazil is part of South America…..even tho Portuguese originates from Portugal which is in Europe.
