Latina Voices, Show 96: Gloria Steinem, Harla Kaplan, Gloria Guardiola
In This Episode
The “Mother of the Women’s Movement” Gloria Steinem is still on the campaign for women’s equality in the workplace and in every other arena. The still-feisty feminist leader sits down with the Ladies to discuss her incredible 40 year effort for the cause that was launched in Houston, TX. Alongside her were Houstonian feminists, Harla Kaplan and Gloria Guardiola, who reminisce with us about that fateful National Conference of Women Convention in 1977.
