
Houston’s first Hispanic fire chief passed away
The Houston Chronicle reported that E.A. “Eddie” Corral passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2015. Corral was Houston’s first Hispanic fire chief and only the fourth Hispanic to join the Houston Fire Department. By all accounts, he led an exemplary and full life.
