The Houston Latin American Philharmonic presents its annual “Viva Latin America” concert to close with the highest honors the Hispanic Heritage Month. The concert will be on Sunday, October 12, 2014 in Cullen Theater of the Wortham Center in Houston, TX.
The program includes 4 Estaciones Porteñas, Tico-Tico, Mi Buenaventura and Tributes to Maria Grever and Simón Díaz. The guest artists for this special performance are:Lorena Eckell, Franklin Paz and Andrea Berri.
The Houston Latin Phil is the only professional orchestra in the United States created to present full program of Latin American music exclusively. The orchestra is led by Venezuelan maestroGlenn R. Garrido.
