Houston had highest population gain in the country
Houston once again tops the country in growth. We added nearly 160,000 new residents to the Houston-Woodlands-Sugar Land area between July 1, 2014 and July 1, 2015. These numbers are according to the US Census Bureau (and found via Houston Culturemap). That means that this metro area is now a whopping 6.6 million (residents) in size.
And the growth in Houston continues, despite recent economic setbacks and the bumps in the energy industry. Let’s hope that good news continues for the city as well.
