The Houston Latin American Philharmonic presents its annual “Viva Latin America” to close Hispanic Heritage Month with the highest honors. The concert program includes Bahia Blanca, Suite Guatapurí, Pajaro Campana, Barlovento, El Cumbanchero and a tribute to Marco Antonio Muñiz (El Lujo de México).

The Houston Latin American Philharmonic is the only professional orchestra in the United States that presents exclusively full programs of Latin American music. The orchestra is led by maestro Glenn Garrido.
