
EVENT: El día de los niños / El día de los libros; April 24 & 25, 2014
Festivities for El día de los niños / El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day) are held across the country on or near April 30th. Día highlights the importance of advocating literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. The Houston Public Library is holding programs to celebrate this day; these programs are free and open to the public.
