The Carnival Houston Show and Parade is celebrating its 2nd year. This year the event is a four-day extravaganza from Thursday, May 21, 2015 to Sunday, May 24, 2015. The weekend includes a Masquerade Bash, the Miss Houston Caribbean Queen beauty pageant, the Neon Paint Party, the anticipated Street Parade + Festival, and Fun-day Picnic + Games.

Carnival Houston Show and Parade is in its 2nd year. The premier event that kicks off the summer has now exploded into a 4 -day weekend extravaganza of events from May 21 – 24, 2015 is a celebration of life and cultural diversity. Carnival Events include from Gala, Pageant, Paint Party, Street Parade + Festival and Fun-day Picnic + Games. It a blend of different cultural backgrounds ranging from Latin America, the Caribbean, and New Orleans.

The event highlights the diverse cultures in Houston and is an exciting explosion of music, cuisine, revelry, costume parade and performances. Houston will welcome over 15, 000 enthusiastic carnival goers and over 1200 participants to its parade. The cultural focus is on the Caribbean and Latin Markets. The aim is to showcase Houston as a Carnival destination – to come, stay, eat, party and explore carnival in Houston.

Our goal is have you come our and experience a unique Carnival here in Houston

Set in the Houston downtown core. Come out with friends or family and watch the spectacular costumes made by the costumes clubs. View costume from the Caribbean, Brazil, and the launch of the Houston Costume Club. You can simply become a spectator or purchase your costume and participate in the event.

Dance to Calypso, Soca, Samba, Steel Pan music. Sample the foods from the Caribbean, Central and South America.
