CapWest Strategies added to “BEST in PR” list
Houston-based CapWest Strategies (formerly Carreño Group PR) was recently ranked in the top ten nationally by topPRagencies.com. CapWest was ranked third in multi-cultural engagement and ranked sixth for web and digital public relations. Not surprising for a public relations firm that also has been ranked by the Houston Business Journal as one of the top PR firms in the region for the past eight years.
CapWest Chief Executive Officer Hector Carreño said, “We are happy to be recognized as being one of the best PR firms in the United States. I am most excited my staffs’ hard work is being acknowledged. We can’t do what we do without all of us working as a team.” Carreño has an established background in public relations and public affairs. In 1979 he received an appointment by President Jimmy Carter to serve as a member of the U.S. Department of Commerce District Export Council. Most recently, he has served on the board of the Houston Business Development, Inc. (HBDi) since 2002, and has served as the Chairman since 2010.
