Best Free E-book Sites
If you’re looking for a good book or a suggestion on a great read, you start at the library. Or at least I do. So it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they can also suggest places to find great reading.
I picked up this list of places to find the best free e-book sites from the Houston Public Library. And the list is eminently share-worthy.
- Houston Public Library offers free e-book and e-audiobook resources, including OverDrive, Hoopla, and OneClickDigital.
- Project Gutenberg, the original free e-book source
- Amazon Free Books is where I started my e-book collection
- ManyBooks.net has a collection of more than 29,000 titles
- iBooks for iOS also offers free ebooks and e-audiobooks
- Google Play Store is the one I haven’t tried yet
If you haven’t tried e-books yet, here’s proof that you don’t have to invest a lot of money to start your collection.
