The 4th Annual Mariachi Festival is coming to Houston! From August 18th to 20th, 2023, Houston will resonate with the vibrant sounds of mariachi music, celebrating our rich Hispanic culture in a fiesta that promises to be unforgettable.

Presented by Performing Arts Houston in collaboration with the Mariachi Festival, this year’s event is set to take the stage by storm, bringing together the best mariachi musicians from across the Lone Star State for a musical extravaganza.

A Musical Fiesta Like No Other

From the first note, the Mariachi Festival will sweep you off your feet with a dazzling lineup spanning three unforgettable nights. And trust us, folks, this isn’t your average music festival – it’s a true celebration of our heritage, passion, and love for the rhythm of mariachi music.

Latina Night with Mariachi Mariposas (Friday, August 18 – 7 pm)

Kicking things off in style, Friday night brings the soulful sounds of Mariachi Mariposas, an award-winning all-female mariachi group from the Rio Grande Valley. Joined by the UH Mariachi Pumas and the freshest voices from the 2023 Mariachi Festival National Mariachi Youth Vocalist Competition, including the incredible soloist Eduardo Antonio Trevino, this night promises a symphony of talent that’ll set the stage on fire.

Mariachi 7 Leguas (Saturday, August 19 – 7 pm)

Saturday night ramps up the excitement with the internationally-renowned Mariachi 7 Leguas. But wait, that’s not all – the University of Texas Rio Grande Ballet Folklorico will also grace the stage, ensuring that your ears and eyes will be in for a treat. And don’t forget to dress to impress in your finest formal attire because this night is all about embracing the elegance and energy of mariachi culture.

Mariachi Imperial de America: 35th Anniversary (Sunday, August 20 – 7 pm)

As the festival draws close, Sunday night promises to be a grand finale. Join the celebration of Mariachi Imperial de America’s 35th anniversary, surrounded by an all-star lineup of talented youth mariachis. Once again, the spotlight shines on the remarkable soloist Eduardo Antonio Trevino, who captured America’s hearts on America’s Got Talent. And hey, don’t be shy – traditional Mexican dresses and guayaberas are the night’s attire!
