Get ready for Houston’s book and arts festival that highlights Hispanic writers and showcases the vibrant culture of the Latino community. Take in the sights and sounds of bilingual storytelling, poetry recitation, children’s activities, musical and theatrical performances, food and much more.

  • Gwendolyn Zepeda
  • Xavier Garza
  • Jesús Treviño

Throughout the day, numerous local literary organizations and vendors including Gulf Coast Literary Journal, Writespace and Zine Fest will display their works on the Central Plaza. Workshops and interactive entertainment include a scavenger hunt, a poetry slam, lotería gaming and luchador mask making!
