The Greater Houston Community is invited to enjoy the Texas Taco Music Fest in a unique celebration of fun, food, music, and Latin culture to raise scholarship money at the “Restaurant Row” on 2400 Navigation Blvd. We invite you to be among the 6 to 8 thousand fun-raisers at our Texas Taco Music Fest April 30, 2016 from 12 pm to 9 pm at the beautifully renovated Navigation Boulevard.

This all day event will involve a cook-off of tacos by 12 restaurants, live bands on full productiom stage, chefs preparing cooking demonstrations, mechanical bull riding, community & craft exhibit booths, climbing walls, street entertainers and a special kid’s block. The will be a Ms. Texas Taco Music Fest competition, a Mexican keroke song contest, and live DJ in the evening.

The event is being built around the historic “ Restaurant Row” which includes Merida, Dona Maria, “the original” Ninfas, El Tiempo, and Los Arcos restaurants. The twelve Houston restaurants selling their delicious tacos as well as a signature Primo taco. They will also be taking part in the chef’s cooking demonstration of their specialty Mexican and Latin salsa to give you insite into the ingredients and secrets to create these salsas. Proceeds will go to scholarships and Hispanic cultural arts programs.
