Middle and high school students are invited to hear guest speakers Gracie Saenz and Díana Dávila Martínez share their experiences as trailblazing Latina leaders. Gracie Saenz is an Attorney at Law with Saenz & Burkhardt, PLLC, a former Houston City Council member and Mayor Pro Tem for the City of Houston, and a graduate of Northside High School (formerly Jeff Davis High School). Dávila Martínez is an author who served in the Texas Legislature from 1993-1998. A graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School and Harvard University, she is a life-long Houstonian.
