    Hi Sandra,

I am Lee Anne Stokes, from Lake Jackson, Texas. I am currently in grad school working towards by school counseling degree. The class I start tomorrow is Multi-culture counseling. The final project is big – 8 -10 pages with a powerpoint. We have to immerse our self into a culture that is not our own. I have chosen the Hispanic culture. I need to find events going on so I can participate in them, get pics, and some interviews. So after all that my question to you, do you know of any festivals or events coming up (June 5 – June 30, class dates) that will be going on in the Houston area?
I appreciate any help you can give me.
    Thank you,
    Lee Anne Stokes

I don’t know of any festivals going on in that timeframe. But here are some places to start. In addition to the things we have listed on our website ( http://hispanichouston.com/events/tags/june-2017/ ) I’d recommend checking with the following:
MECA Houston, Talento Bilingue de Houston, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, East End Chamber of Commerce, Empresarios Latinos de Houston ( http://empresarioslatinos.org/ ), and NHPO Houston ( http://nhpohouston.org/calendar-of-events/ ). Let me know if we can be of additional assistance. – Sandra
