From the chili stands in downtown Houston during the early 1900s to the fusion restaurants of today, Mexican and Mexican American food have played a significant role in Houston history. The archival documents and images on display reflect the entrepreneurial spirt of many early Mexican American Houstonians and their contributions to Houston’s food history.
